Participants will use their creativity (with help from MP art students) to make a bone from clay and make a $5 donation to the project. These bones will become part of an art “installation” which will be displayed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., in the spring of 2013. </span></div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div></span><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Proceeds from this Bone-Making Party will be used to aid the advocacy organizations: CARE, Enough!, Women For Women International and The Genocide Intervention Network. A small portion of the proceeds will be used to ship Monroe County’s “bones” to Washington, D.C. </span></div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div></span><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Come, join with other Monroe County Arts Alliance members on February 28th as we support and assist Mary Persons Art students and their art teacher, Mrs. Samantha Trevitt, in this important cause.
